A brand that outgrew its Squarespace template
The template looked professional in the demo, but the real business needed booking, custom intake forms, and integrations that Squarespace could only handle with workarounds.
This is an illustrative engagement scenario based on the type of work we do. It intentionally contains no client names, quotes, or performance statistics.
The problem
- Online booking required a third-party embed that looked nothing like the rest of the site.
- Custom forms and checkout flows were limited by the template's built-in options.
- Important SEO and structured data controls were either hidden or unavailable.
- The site was starting to look like every other business in the same category.
What we did
- 01
Mapped the real business requirements before choosing the next platform.
- 02
Migrated content and preserved key URLs so search traffic did not disappear.
- 03
Built a custom site with native booking, flexible forms, and direct integrations.
- 04
Designed around the brand instead of forcing the brand into a template.
What changed
- Booking and intake are now part of the site, not an awkward embedded window.
- Better control over search metadata, page speed, and mobile experience.
- A design that looks like the business, not the template marketplace.
