Website maintenance & management

Website maintenance
without the website work.

Somebody has to keep the site online, updated, backed up, fast, and current. With Potenza, that somebody isn't you.

We host the site, apply the technical updates, watch it for outages and slowdowns, keep the SEO foundations intact, and make your routine content changes — hours, prices, staff, photos — when you text us. There is no CMS to learn and no support ticket to file.

How it works

A website you never have to manage.

Most website companies build your site, launch it, hand you the keys, and disappear.

Then six months later you need to change something. Now you're logging into software you barely remember how to use, watching YouTube tutorials, or paying someone $150 to change three sentences.

Potenza works differently. We continue managing the website after launch.

You run your business. We'll run the website.

Why it matters

What happens to a website nobody maintains

Websites don't fail loudly. They drift. Nothing looks wrong from the owner's desk, and meanwhile the contact form has been silently failing for five weeks.

Most of the emergencies we get called about started as a maintenance item somebody postponed.

  • Forms stop delivering

A mail setting changes or a spam filter tightens, and the quote requests stop arriving. Nobody notices, because a missing email looks exactly like a slow week.

  • Software goes out of date

Plugins, themes, and libraries stop receiving security fixes. Sites get compromised through known holes in software that had a patch available months earlier.

  • The certificate or domain lapses

A browser warning on your homepage costs more trust in an afternoon than a redesign buys back in a year.

  • Information goes stale

Old hours, an old price, a phone number for a line nobody answers. Customers treat wrong information as a sign the business is careless — or closed.

  • Speed decays

Full-resolution photos get added over the years, and the site that loaded in two seconds now takes eight on a phone at a job site.

  • Search visibility erodes

Broken links, orphaned pages, and a sitemap that no longer matches the site. Nothing dramatic happens on one day; the trend just points down.

We keep it running.

Included

What's an included edit?

If we're changing information that's already part of your website, it's probably included.

  • Change business hours
  • Update pricing
  • Swap a photo
  • Change a phone number
  • Update an employee bio
  • Add or remove an employee
  • Update existing service information
  • Change an announcement
  • Correct existing text
  • Update contact information
  • Replace an existing image
  • Update seasonal information

Most simple edit requests are designed to be completed quickly during normal business hours. Timing depends on the request and current workload.

Quoted separately

And what's a new project?

Some changes go beyond normal website maintenance.

  • Creating new pages
  • Major page redesigns
  • New website sections
  • Custom functionality
  • Booking system changes
  • E-commerce development
  • New integrations
  • Custom forms
  • Large amounts of new copywriting
  • New location pages
  • New SEO campaigns
  • Large content uploads
  • Database development
  • Custom applications

Changing your hours is an edit. Building an entirely new booking system is not.

These projects are quoted separately before work begins.

The value

What are you paying $199 a month for?

Not a login. Not a website builder. Not a hosting account you're expected to figure out yourself.

You're paying for someone to continue taking care of the website. Hosting. Maintenance. Performance. Technical oversight. Routine edits. And somebody you can actually contact when something changes.

Your website stays our problem.
